The Test of ability to work in a foreign language — LILATE© is an adaptive language assessment certificate that allows you to attest your real level in a foreign language.

What is LILATE?
The LILATE is an online, adaptive test, conducted by videoconference with a native examiner. It assesses your ability to work in a foreign language in a professional context, across all language skills:

👉 written comprehension and expression
The test lasts 60 minutes maximum, with a requested connection 15 minutes in advance. He is mandatory for any training offer eligible for the CPF.

Conditions for taking the test
The LILATE test is taking place entirely remote, in video conferencing with a native reviewer.

Regulatory Information
Mandatory presentation for certification
Any training offer eligible for CPF funding via LILATE must include the passage of certification.
The results are available Within 24 to 72 hours after the session.
Each candidate receives a detailed skills report, accompanied by:
- Of a official certification (from the B1 CEFR level),
- Or of a Level certificate if the level reached is lower.
La LILATE certification is valid for 2 years from the date the test is taken. This duration reflects the need to maintain a regular practice of the language to guarantee the attested level.
In case of impediment, the test may be Postponed at no cost If it is canceled at least 48 hours in advance.Any unjustified absence on the day of the test results in Losing the session, except in duly justified cases of force majeure.
